Functional Pottery

      All of Lindsey's functional pottery is lead-free dinnerware, microwave and dishwasher safe. The stoneware and high-fire porcelain pieces can also be used as baking dishes, able to go directly into the oven.

      The clay bodies range from terra cotta, low-fire white, and white stoneware, to high-fire stoneware and porcelain. The glazes also cover the color spectrum and include: low-fire, mid-range, high-fire gas, raku and crystalline glazes. Each piece is hand-made on the potter's wheel where no two are produced exactly alike. The items range from the everyday mug and cereal bowl to the over-sized 30" serving bowl.
